Elm City Physical Therapy

Elm City Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy practice that provides patients with individualized, quality care utilizing a combination of exercise and manual therapy. The manual therapy technique used is called Integrative Manual Therapy (I.M.T.).

I.M.T. is a specialized approach that identifies and addresses the underlying causes of dysfunction using a holistic approach. So, instead of only treating the symptoms, this approach aims to treat the cause as well.

Elm City Physical Therapy treats a variety of orthopedic and neurologic patients in all age groups using a combination of Integrative Manual Therapy and exercise. This combined manual therapy and exercise approach is helpful for all patient populations, but is especially helpful for individuals with chronic conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia, thoracic outlet syndrome and headaches. The facility also utilizes Wii Fittness as a therapy tool to help inprove strength, balance, flexibility and endurance.
